Description
As it was necessary to provide better safety conditions within the Port State Jurisdiction premises, the General Port Administration – State Enterprise decided to carry out the construction and readaptation of the Buenos Aires port perimeters and accesses.
The following tasks were performed:
- In the loading dock, located in Puerto Sur where the Boca Riachuelo Naval Prefecture facilities are located, a new perimeter of similar characteristics to the existing one was built by adding pedestrian doors and gates for vehicle access.
- In the 6th North Harbor, located at 400 Cecilia Grierson Street, the entire front entrance was built by placing an electro-welded fence on a concrete wall, and a single-leaf manual opening swing gate. A pedestrian access door will be added.
- In CENCAPOR (the National Port Educational Center), located in the port entrance at Maipú Street, we built the entire front entrance. We also replaced the current perimeter, which goes from the corner of Ramón Castillo Avenue to the entrance to the center, by placing an electro-welded fence on a concrete wall, and a single-leaf manual opening swing gate. A pedestrian access door was added.
- In the General Workshop, located at Wilson Street and Ramón Castillo Avenue, we replace the entire current front entrance by placing an electro-welded fence on a concrete wall, and a double-leaf manual opening swing gate. A pedestrian access door will be added.
- In the Puerto Nuevo building, located at 2800 at Edison Avenue, we built a new perimeter with an electro-welded fence on a concrete wall. We added three sliding gates in the parking areas for vehicles access, two with electric opening and one manual. We also added a pedestrian access door with the same characteristics.
